The looks on my kids faces when they were running around and I said “앉아” (pronounced “anjah”) were hysterical! My co-teacher has been teaching me phrases that she uses to get the kids to listen in the classroom. I had been going over “sit down in your chair” this morning, so when the time came I was saying “sit down, sit down” and she comes over and whispers in my ear to say “앉아“. Their mouths just dropped. Silly kids.
